How to reach us
We're here Sunday through Thursday
Our team is available Sunday to Thursday, 10:00–18:00 Alexandria time (EET, UTC+2). We work Egyptian business hours, which means Friday and Saturday are off — please factor that into your message timing. If you write on a Thursday evening, you'll hear back on Sunday morning.
The best way to reach us is through the enquiry form below. Email works too — write to [email protected] directly. For quick questions about session scheduling, you can also call us on +20 3 4925 318 during business hours. Please avoid calling outside those hours; voicemail is not monitored.
Helping you choose the right course or level
One of the most common things we hear from new enquiries is: "I don't know which course I need." That's completely normal — most travellers haven't thought carefully about what they want from Egyptian Arabic before they contact us. Here's a quick guide to help you decide before you send your message.
If you haven't tried any Arabic at all, start with the free essential phrases — open them now and spend twenty minutes reading through. If you can pronounce roughly half of what's on that page after a bit of practice, you're at a level where our Travel Crash Course will push you forward quickly. If the phrases feel overwhelming, the Free Phrasebook tier is the right entry point: download it, use it for a week, then come back.
If you've studied some Arabic before — standard or otherwise — or if you're on a second Egypt trip and want more than survival phrases, a Private Tutoring session is the fastest path to the specific vocabulary you're missing. Tell us your background in the message and we'll confirm the level within the first five minutes of your session.
We also offer in-person sessions in Alexandria for travellers who are already in the city. The format is the same as the online sessions; the only difference is that you're sitting across the table from your teacher rather than on a call. Mention in your message whether you prefer in-person or online and which dates you'll be in Alexandria — we'll check availability.
What to include in your message
To give you a useful, specific recommendation rather than a generic reply, it helps to know:
- Your travel dates — roughly when you're visiting Egypt (or already here), and for how long.
- Your current level — "none at all," "used a phrasebook before," "basic greetings," or "some Modern Standard Arabic." Any description helps.
- What you're most concerned about — bargaining at the market, asking for directions, ordering in a restaurant, or just saying hello and thank you without embarrassment? If you tell us the situation that worries you most, we'll make sure the course covers it properly.
- How much time you have — one session before your trip, or a series of lessons over a few weeks? Both work; we just set the pace accordingly.
You don't need to answer all of these to send a message — anything you share helps. We will reply within one to two working days with a specific course recommendation, available session times, and pricing if applicable. If we feel the free phrasebook alone covers what you need, we'll say so plainly rather than push you toward a paid option you don't need.
